electric problems

2005 explorer sportrac

blown fuses, wiper,window,lighter,horn,ect...

dash gets warm at radio area

were to start to look for problem..?

has any one else experienced..?
 
Do you have an aftermarket head unit installed if so you need to check all wiring and add fusable link, etc.. Don't have much to go on but that's my first suggestion based on info, others will chyme in with help too.
 
The first gen OEM radios have always gotten hot. So much so that in most cases, if you use a CD with a stuck on label the adhesive breaks downs and the label comes inside the radio.



I installed a PC fan onto the back of my radio and my problems were solved.



Look in your cig lighter and make sure loose change did not fall in and blow the fuse.
