Someone from another site will do your emblems in new paint and cover with clear epoxy for $60.00. They look like this. Might do mine in black.

gary d, save your money and get the overlay sticker from rob at web extremes. he has all colors and they are made of great quality. i have them on my front and rear emblems.[Broken External Image]:

Regarding the WebExtremes stickers, the emblems are slightly convex, no? And if so, do the stickers overlay in a flush manner without bubbling or warping?

Yes, $60 is steep, but for an authentic, clear enameled look they seem pretty sweet.

Gary, I know you have an orange ST...are the emblems pictured the ones he did for you, and is that orange?

TJR

Gary, I was wondering if they were orange too? I originally bought the orange decal kit from Web Xtremes, but the orange was not a close match with my truck. Then Rob sent me the brushed aluminum/chrome, which I love on my truck but the front grill emblem is starting to peel up on one corner. :( My back decal and all the ones on my wheels look perfect though. Can you post the link to the person making the ones above? Please.. :D -Heather

Anyone have a closeup pic of their emblem decals...one close-up and from a 45 deg angle like the picture that Gary D posted at the start of this thread.

I am trying to see if you can tell from that distance and angle if it "looks like a sticker", or if it looksO E.

TJR

TJR- They look OE for sure from a couple of feet away, but if I'm kneeling down with my face a few face inches away you can tell it is an overlay. I have had several people ask me where I got the different colored emblems and when I tell them it is an overlay they can't believe it. The trick to getting it to look really good is making sure they are perfectly centered on install. I also waited till the next morning to pull the protective plastic of the surface of the decal as well, that way the edges had time to completely adhere and take on the form of the slightly curved edge of the emblem. The only close up pic I have is the one of my wheel, but that is from straight on. Hope this helps! -Heather[Broken External Image]:

In a recessed hubcap I would expect them to look great. What about on convex emblem?

Given all the great testimonials and low cost I guess I am just going to have to go the WebExstremes route.

I have the Black decals on front and back of mine and they look great. I didnt realize he did NFL logos too, might have to look into that next!

TRJ, yes those are orange, The guy did them for his wife's ST, then they sold it. He didn't do mine yet, just thinking about it. The stock blue just doesn't cut it on my ST. I will do black if I do, like all my accents.

Nothing against the stick ons, Rob does a super job. Different strokes for different folks. Just thought some of you would like real paint and epoxy. Email me if you want his address, Gary
