EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED (kinda) Louisiana ST'rs

Rose and Rue are on I20 going W to see her sick brother in NM. She just passed Monroe and there are NO hotel rooms ANYWHERE. Can anyone help with a suggestion.. I can't let her sleep in the Expediton in some parking lot. At least I don't want that to happen. I'm at home in SC and can't do anything to help.

LaRue, she's only a couple of hours away from Shreveport, further down I-20, which is much bigger than Monroe. Why not call some places there and see what they've got? Can she and Rue handle another 150 miles?

Rich, I called all the way to Shreveport (50 miles both ways) every motel I could find...NADA Rose can't drive very well at night. Rue is just as bad. Hopefully she'll call soon with some good news... fingers crossed she's been on the road since 9am

LaRue,

I would be happy to have them spend the night here but, Monroe, LA is about a 4-5 hour drive from here and it's already dark. My guess is she will need to be about another 200+ miles further west before they will find any vacancies.



She may want to try going into some of the occupied hotel chains and see if they can locate any vacancies nearby. It might not be within 50 miles, but even 60 or 75 mile out would be better than sleeping on the side of the road.

We finally found a room cancellation at Hollywood Casino. BTW, I gave her have permission to spend 100$ and she WON!!!!!! enough to pay for the round trip with some extra spending cash................... hooooo haaaaaa:lol: .. of course she said I couldn't have any of the money Thanks again mi familia
