So after driving a 13 hour trip my check engine lamp came on. Went to advance auto parts and the code is Po3o3 and the guy said it was a engine miss fire. What I have found is that it could be anything from the spark plugs to the coils to the actual engine is jacked up. Has anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions of how to isolate the issue? The only thing I put in my engine is seafoam through the brake booster hose, could this have happened because of how I put the seafoam in?

Unfortunately, #3 is the most difficult plug to reach.

Start by removing or turning the passenger tire to

maximum left, and inspect the #3 plug and wire. GL

Did it happen shortly after the seafoam? If so might have broke some carbon loose. Stuck to the #3 plug electrode or insulator. Causing a hot condition, fouling the plug.

Well I pulled the cable and it looked good. Fired it up and still the lamp was on. So I might just replace all the plugs and cables, I think its time to do that again anyway.

Disconnect your Battery for 10 mins that will clear the code and turn out the light other wise unless you get someone to turn it out with a obd II testor it will be on for 20 starts. If you have a intermitent miss it will turn the light on. You may be chasing your tail here get the light out and drive the vehicle see if it comes back on.

Did you remove the #3 spark plug?

Do you happen to have an aftermarket Coil pack on the truck ???

Did not remove the plug just yet, didn't have the right socket. I did not change the coil pack either, good thinking though. After I started it up today the code is gone, guess I hit that 20 start number. The engine seems to be running fine, no sputters, no rough idles, the truck drives just as it normally does. It has 120k and I have changed the spark plugs around 60-70k. When I was driving on the trip it was very hilly and the cruise control was taking the engine 4k rpms to maintain speed before I would take the cruise off. The high rpms and the seafoam might have moved some carbon around perhaps. I will take the spark plugs out and see how dirty they are.
