Evap emissions sensor

has anyone heard of this sensor going bad after 60,000 mi? is this hard to change? is 250.00 alot to have it changed? just want to know if iam getting ripped off

Depends what exact sensor it is....



At rock auto some Evap sensors are 40-60 bucks....



There are a couple on the truck..



Do you have a CEL ??? Have a parts place like Autozone scan the computer for free and tell us the code number..
