Expedition with DIESEL?

Pulled up to a stoplight this morning next to an Expedition with a diesel engine. The truck was clean and basically stock-looking. Was this a custom job, or did Expeditions come with available diesel engines?



I'll bet that big sucker got decent mileage.

I saw one in southern Ontario and wondered the same thing. I wonder if they could be custom ordered?

I'm pretty sure my cousin has one in Fla. She mixes up a home brew of used fryer oils and other things and runs the SUV on it. Like a buck a gallon. Her boyfriend owns a couple restaruants. My mother said it runs real well.

Probably an Excursion. I don't think they ever made Expeditions with a diesel.

there is no such thing as a diesel expedition,

therefore, it is the excursion. ford is actually

considering in adding the diesel power-stroke

into the expedition for the 2010 models.

They quit making Excursions about two years ago.

yes that might of been the last ones manufactured,

but they are releasing the 2010 models shortly

The tag on the back of this one said "Expedition". Maybe someone was screwing around...

4 years ago I saw a Ford "Everest" in Kenya

Looked identical to our Ford Explorer except that it had a 3 litre diesel

Sometime it is amazing what is available in our world market
