Hi, my 04 trac has an after market tuner with a cd player, it's a Sony MEX-BT3000. It all goes to a very large and load speaker under the back seat. I'm looking at changing back to a factory radio. I see them on Ebay that have the tuner, CD changer and a cassette player which we would like to have. My question is this; can I just pull the after market and plug the factory radio back in or do you think there were some modifications made to the wiring that would prevent this?

Depends what your 2004 XLT came equipped with, and if the original wiring was left intact using the correct adapter plugs.
