For all of you Fantasy Football guys out there..Whats your opinion on McNabb? I've got the decision of starting him, or Romo this weekend against a big league rival. I know Romo has put up nearly 3x as many points.. but he's going against the Bears defense this weekend.. And my fantasy team has Donovan slated to score about 22 points this week to Romo's 10..Anybody have any advice here.. Plus I figured we could use a good football thread..;)

I have Romo Starting against the Bears. It was either that or Joey Harrington from Atlanta which would be ugly regardless... Romo will not do nearly as well as he did against the giants or miami but his offensive line is huge and gives him ample time. He has a cool head on his sholders and great WR's. Mcnabb is a great Qb also but as we have seen he hasnt recovered fully from his knee surgery and his ENTIRE offense not just him are struggling. It isn't fair to blame him directly for their 2x losses... the entire team is outa synch. IMO go with Romo. He should get 1/2 TD's and 1/2Int. He wont do great but he will do better than what the eagles are doing... which is not scoring. oh and if you can... get CAMPBELL from the Redskins! He's my boy and looking better and better going agaist the non existing Giants Defense! GO SKINS!

i had romo starting but i dropped him and picked up tom brady and randy moss....those two are going to destroy the buffalos defense

Woppy - You are right on about the Eagles offense.. Sucks.. I have Westbrook as well. He's done a good job, considering.. but this is nothing like the offense they've ran in the past.. I do still believe Donovan will break out of this.. it's just a matter of when! lol..

Jr - You got lucky in the fact that Brady and Moss were stil available..Nice pick-up..

Thanks for the advice guys..keep it comin..

Lol I have Romo and Brady! I'd be 2-0 if t wasn't for the fact that I played some jerk in my league who had 3 players who played in that awful game CIN vs CLE. 3 players scored 2 td's each and those weren't even his Qb's!! I lost by 10 pts. Arghghalshghsss

I'm trying to decide between Romo and Peyton Manning. Yeah, I was pretty lucky this year on QBs but most of my other positions suck. I need to trade for someone good.

Nelson ~ Go with Manning. HOU is good this year but their defense is far less concerning than the Bears and Manning is a better Qb to boot.

If it was me, I'd definately start Romo. McNabb is a good QB, but thier offence is just enemic. I know Dallas is playing Chicago but Philly is playing Detroit. Trust me, this isn't last years Lions. (I'm not a Detroit fan either, Stiller's all the way) I'd go with a QB that has shown he can win so far this year, and take the bite if I was wrong. Luckily I have Peyton and Big Ben to choose from.;)

Go with Romo. After all, any day the NAACP are going to get their undies in a bunch about McNabb's recent racist remarks, which will be picked up by the media outlets, snowball, and before you know it he'll be forced to resign from the team.

Or at least, that's what would happen if there were any justice in this world...

Manning and the Colts lost to the Texans last time and the Texans are a much better team this year.

TomT ~ they did lose... but it wasn't Mannings fault. He did great. His defense lost that game.

Manning that game = (C/ATT = 21/27 )( YDS = 205 )( AVG = 7.6 )( TD = 3 )( INT = 0)

i joined a salary cap team that is why i got brady and moss......i had to pick up some cheap kicker and the dalas defense to afford both of them...well worth it though

edit......

about the eagles....the coach whos name i cant remember is doin a horrible job....the eagles are playing under their salary cap which i think is just downright stupid....plus i would have kept jeff garcia and traded mcnabb because the eagles under garcia last year ran a heck of alot better. with mcnabb back their doing more throwin than running and thats whats hurting them...they have no good recievers

Garcia over McNabb?! I down right hate the eagles... but i still agree that McNabb is far better than Garcia! What they coulda down was sign either Culpepper or Leftwich when they had a shot to backup McNabb. Put comeptition inside the organization for the starter QB position! That woulda put some fire under his feet :)
