After a trip to the dealer, the front diff vent tube leaking is normal under very cold temps. Tech stated the front diff was over filled and to much pressure build up forced out some fluid. The odd thing is a had the upgraded cover with the baffle on my trac so no need to preform the TSB. He did recommend a fluid change which i can do on my own.

The front end growl was caused by the front end sticking/not releasing and low transfer case fluid. Changed the fluid for $60 and used it this morning and the growl is gone. They did check the front bearings and upper and lower joints and confirmed what i did, they are in good shape so far.

Wanted to update in case other members run into similar issues and might lead them in the right direction.
