Finally a new mechatronic assembly

Hi all,



My sporttrac finally goes in Monday to have the mechatronic assembly changed. I've been dealing with that clunk for 9 months. I've had 3 reflashes and while it has improved it is still there to varying degrees. My dealer even offered me a loaner car without having to ask. All in all my dealer has been great and I didn't even buy the sporttrac there. I'm just letting everyone know that persistance pays off.

Good to hear they are willing to work to get it fixed. Hope all goes well and it's the end of your problems.

Well they swapped out the mechatronic assembly and refilled with 8 litres of Mercron SP fluid. It shifts perfect now. I'm finnaly totally happy with my Trac.
