Well it's been about two years since I've had front tow hooks. I was on Explorerforum.com and found out that the '95-04 S-10 blazer tow hooks fit perfect and have the right upward curve in it to fit on the Sport Trac with a 3" Body Lift. I'll post pictures when I get them mounted. Guy on Craigslist was selling his set he had takin off his Blazer when he bought it because he didn't like the look of them, picked them up for $5.

Nice find but they'll rust the front of your ST !

Didn't know you hung out on EF........

No, I'm gonna coat them first. The bolt holes line up perfect to the factory tow hook brackets. I still have to straighten out the brackets and re-weld them stronger to the frame. At the last place I lived I pulled six pretty deeply rooted stumps out, got five out by myself but on the sixth one my shows up and says I'll hook this one up so you don't have to keep climbing in/out of the truck, he criss-crossed the chains. When I backed up to pull it out it ripped the stamp welds off the bottom of the brackets making the tow hooks angle up to and into the bumper cover (needless to say I was alittle pissed off at him) and haven't had tow hooks since. In this picture you can see where the tow hooks went in and pushed the the two down supports towards one another (there discolored now too).

Either one of you guys have the bolt pattern of the hooks handy? Need center-to-center of the bolt holes.

EDIT: I just went on and took the hooks off and made the template myself. Here it is for future reference.

3" O.C. 1/2" holes.

Yeah, saw some of those conversion posts on EF. There are some listings on eBay for the S10 hooks too.

Sending you an e-mail.

I had the tow hooks on my old Trac chrome plated at Paul's Chrome in Evans City, PA. One of the best chrome shops in the nation, been featured on My Classic Car, and it's just up the road from us. Not be cheap though.

Good idea johnny but i'll probably rhino line them, the guys in our club have some left over from lining Pinky's bed. :supercool::haveabeer:
