In Memoriam 1950-2022
I had to get my AZ gold battery replaced today. 19 days before the 3yr free replacment ran out. This is the first for me with Auto Zone Gold.
Back in the day before retirement and divorce. 4cars in the driveway. Only one had the AZ red top. My 'stang AZ gold lasted 8yrs. The rest of the the auto zone batteries lasted almost to the end of warranty or past it. Cant complain..
The clerk gave me no problem. I have a 100amp load tester. It went from 12.2 to 8 vdc in 5 seconds. I checked the charging system after boost start.
He believed me. Handed me a new battery with my ticket. Swaped it at the store. IN and out in 20 minutes.:banana:
