Flashing 4x4 light

So first real snow today and I switched to 4x4 on the highway doing about 30 mph. The light flashed on me a couple times and it seemed like it coinsided with whenever I reached about 45mph. I don't ever remember this truck or my Rangers ever doing that. I could tell that it was engaged, just wondering if it wastelling me to not go any faster? Or was it something else?

The flashing is not a a speed thing.



Two very common issues with the Trac. The engaging motor and the 4X4 module.



If you tap on the motor while someone turn the 4X4 switch on and off, if it is stuck on a "rust" ring, that will normally free it up.



The module is another issue.
