Flickering Headlights on Daytime Running Lights only

Hey all - went to go to work this morning and noticed that my headlights were blinking...flickering may be a better word - basically going brighter then dimmer but several times per second. This is on a 2001 Sport Trac. It seems to be the daytime running lights only, as when I actually turn on the headlight switch they are normal, and other lights - fog, dashboard, etc - don't appear to have the same issue. Any suggestions on how to best diagnose / resolve the issue?

I have the same problem but can't find where you searched, 2001 4wd, now my low beam is out on the drivers side too...
