this this my first sport trac, a 07(have always own a f-150) do all ST come with the rubber type flooring ? and if so why ?

Yes !

All Sports to date come with the rubber flooring. They were first marketed as a SUT or hauler for mountian bikes, rock climbing ,boating and atv's .With a easy clean interior's.

I wish that my Lariat F150 came with rubber flooring instead of carpet. For people that actually leave the pavement the rubber flooring is great. So easy to clean and keep clean. That had to be one of my favorite features on my ST's. Fully loaded and still had rubber floors.

remember it isnt really true rubber flooring. there is still a pad under the rubber which can soak up water or other liqids spilled.

The ST has rubber flooring because somehow Ford knows that my kids stash their sticky lollipop sticks under their seats.
