I have a Audiovox FMM100 still sealed in the package if you are interested in it. It was recommended to me as the best hard-wired modulator when I was working on my DVD installation, but I found a good deal on a DVD HU and went that way instead.

Send me an email if you want it. I paid $24.95 for it, but I'll sell it for $20 plus shipping.

Circuit City has them, they work great and only take a couple of minutes to install. The one I have splits the line-in from the antenna.

In this day and time I do not know whay anyone would want to use an FM modulator. There are better solutions. I had tried the FMM100 a little while back when I was installing a hard drive MP3 player in a friends car. It worked, but sounded link the music was being played through a coffee can stuffed with old T-Shirts. I ended up getting him a PIE adaptor. It is a direct ine in that you would use by selecting the aux input on your factory head unit. His was in a Pontiac, but below is a link to the one for the Ford. Costs a little more, but the sound quality is well worth it. BTW: Crutchfield is great for researchig products, but I find that thier prices are a bit higher than others....

I can't speak for the Audiovox one, as I never opened or installed it, but the cheapy that I first bought for $7.95 off the 'Bay sounded fine, but had static and I couldn't filter out the engine noise from the DVD player. The instructions for the cheapy said you could avoid this by trial and error of the frequency settings, but the Audiovox was the one that came most recommended. The deal on my HU was too good to pass up, so I changed to that instead.
