Pop your hood. Look in the upper right hand corner (driver’s side) for a black plastic box which has the words “Fuse Compartment†written on it.
Remove the cover. The bottom row is lined with relays. The one you want is relay #48a (number which is on the fuse box lid). This is the 4th one over from the left. You want the bottom one, NOT the top one.
Wiggle it out.
Now flip it over and look at the terminals.
You’ll see 2 bigger vertical terminals and 3 horizontal terminals. Holding the relay as shown in the picture below, you’ll want to break off one of the smaller terminals as shown in the picture.
