Ford just posted this on their Facebook page:

Just a few minutes until we let the cat out the bag! Game-changing news from Ford coming your way in 23 min! Click on the "Ford Webcasts" tab to view!

I'm betting it's the official debut of the 2011 Explorer. If you don't have a FB account, you can view it at the link below. The webcast is supposed to go live @1030 EST.

Good product for Ford, but for me, I agree with TT...

I joined Ford's Facebook group to talk up bringing back the Sport Trac on the new Explorer chassis. It's a compromise, I know, but for what I haul, I'd rather have a FWD/AWD Sport Trac than none at all.

I'd rather have a small F150. Better yet, a Raptor the size of an ST!

A FWD ST isn't an ST...just like a "truck" without a bed is not a truck.

FWD makes no sense from a truck engineering perspective...maybe from a cost-saving perspective, but I'll pay for the more logical RWD and body-on-frame. "Monocoque" sounds fruity anyhow.

Guess I'll have to keep on buying used :(

Is that really what their big announcment was? I am dissappointed as all get out. I was hoping they had changed their minds about killing the ST after 2010. DAMN!!

I notice on Ford's Facebook page that people are all disappointed that the announcement wasn't about a new Bronco. Is there a new Bronco in the works?

There was a concept Bronco a few years ago. I thought it looked pretty nice when they brought it to the MN state fair.

That's where I first saw a four-door Bronco. I remember guys around it saying that no one would want a four-door vehicle like that.

Too bad the F100 didn't kick off. They may have been hopes for us then. Sounds like the Ranger will be gone as well. Many think that's a mistake also.
