A while back, when I first got my trac I was looking to get some bass

in the relatively small cab. Online I actually found two Subwoofer systems

for the Sport Track and I bought them both figuring I would use one or the other,

and sell the other one.

1) C.Wells Dual 8" Subwoofers with some JBL Subs in it.

Completely Hidden (Thanks to ToddZ for the Pics of a set installed)

2) Factory OEM Subwoofer (8") from the Sport Trac Adrenalin.

(fits under 40 split single seat)

I never installed either of them, because I ended up transplanting my Stereo

Equipment from my 02 SC Harley truck. Anyways, it's been sitting in my garage

for about 6 months, and it might as well go to someone who will enjoy them.

1) C-Wells - $175 Plus Shipping (it's kinda heavy)

2) Factory OEM sub - $100 plus shipping (looks brand new)

Ed,

I don't see why not it is just a speaker.... just the plugs may not be the same... no biggie..

I have the oem sub and amp behind the seat. Is the adrenlin sub larger? My oem sub is 6".

Anyone think it will make a difference. Driven by my oem amp?

Ed,

I would say so..... The adren system sounded awesome and if you swap the speaker with a good name brand it will sound even better..

you just cant fold the seat any more..

I think it will definitely be an improvement over your speaker Eddie. However, if you replace it with a better quality aftermarket sub, make sure you get one that matches the air space of the enclosure. otherwise you could end up worse than you started, or just wasting your time.

the adrenalin sub is CALLED a 10".. but if you replace it w an aftermarket one, you buy an 8".. its the way the oem sub "basket" is designed.. rockford rosgate makes a damn good low airspace 8" sub that seems to run just fine w the Adrenalin stereo system.
