If Ford has this "hidden" increase built-in the engine and a reprogramming can unleash it... wouldn't GM have the same opportunity? Might be an interesting battle between Ford and GM.

Silly horsepower and towing pissing matches. So juvenile.

For most people for that use these truck don't care about tow rating. All the local farmers have their 1 tons and they go by this principle "'Do you think my truck can pull It?' 'Why the hell not!'" None of the people around here ever think about trailer weight. They just hook it, load it, occasionally secure the load and go.

I wonder if we can do that with the ST. My 2010 does not feel like 292 hp.

JohnnyB, It is that darn electronic throttle, with the ramping input from the ecu.

Get a tuner and take that out and have torrie wake it up with some tunnig.
