Found the leak!

I posted a few days ago about a water leak...



WINDSHIELD! I'm surprised by the estimate! They want:



$129.90 to Re-Seal the windshield (No Warranty... may not work)

$169.95 to Remove & reinstall the windshield (No Warranty... May break windshield)

$236.11 to Replace Windshield (Warranty: As long as I own the Vehicle)



Guess I'm getting a new Windshield... I thought it would cost around $500 for a new Windshield!

$236 for a replacement is pretty steep. I had my 05 windshield replaced a couple months ago due to a crack. Mobile van came to my house and had the old out and the new in, in approx 1hour. Cost was $159.



Could be due to location but I suggest you still look around

$159...do they come to edmonton?....I paid 235 last year....need a new one again, no thanx to the kid mowing the lawns for the city, or should I say mowing the rocks...

$159?!?!?! Was it made from plastic? lol Dang that is cheap!

I'm located in Madison Wisconsin... not sure if that would make that big of a difference though...

It cost me $180.00 to replace my windshield with a Carlite windshield.



They came to my house to do it too.

I had the same lawn (rock) cutter in Florida last year and had to pay about $200 for them to come out and replace the windshield on my '01. Check your insurance policy. Windshields are covered on some and required in policies in some states.
