Hi All,

I just replaced my stock shocks with the Monroe reflex shocks. Rear driver side upper bolts, what a pain.

Anyway, while I was under the front I noticed that there was some blue silicone around the front diff. cover.

So this question is for those of you that toured the ford plant.

You did notice that this silicon was on all the front diffs you saw being installed on the assembly line, right......right........riiiiiight? :(

I bought the Trac used 85,000 mi, it's a 2003. Only had it a few months.

thanks,

new Chad

Chad, perhaps someone changed the diff fluid in the past, blue, black whatever.

If you have no leaks, is a non issue.

The OEM difs are sillyconed from the factory.,....

IT was either serviced, OR they installed the TSB cover when the front breather is leaking..
