front license plate holder

I live in Ohio where a front license plate is required and my front plate fell off the other day. Luckily the plate and holder fell back into the air intake area for the radiator. I found some metal bolts to tried to put the plate back on but there is no way to get to the back of the bolts. It looked like there was plastic bolts holding the plate and plate holder on to begin with but i wanted something a little stronger. Does anyone have any idea how to get tothe back of the bolts without removing the whole plastic bumper cover.

The plastic rivets SUCK!!!!!

I believe if you remove the lower shield you can get to it.

IF not you have to remove the whole thing.



You could allways drill new holes and use a very aggressive thread screw and secure it to the bumper...

Drill a hole big enough and use a drywall screw with the fold out back thingy.

I just snaked some steel braided cable through the holes and strapped it down to the tow hooks.
