Aloha folks, 2002 2 wheel drive 144k miles. On some roads I get a front end noise rumble and vibration. Turn right it is louder, turn left it is quiet! Sounds like front wheel bearings, but it doesn't happen on all roads. This has been going on for several years. Even after new tires. Is there anything else that would cause these symptoms?.

Thanks and God bless Ed

Years huh? You can re grease the front bearings or just adjust them and see what happens....Could be rotor seals too, or a tie rod.

If they have been running dry there could be spindle damage.

Need to look at it...

At that milage. If you have never serviced the front wheel bearings. I would say it is time. I would say the left side is bad, taking the load when turning.

Had this happen on an '88 T-bird. Below is info on setting the bearings.
