I have the old rear parking brake cable from my 2002 Trac. I removed the drums and replaced them with Disks. The cables are different, so I had to get new ones.

Is anyone interested in them? I planed to put them on eBay, but I thought I would check with my friends here.

They worked great when I removed them. They did not stick or anything. They look like new.

The disk brake conversion had alot of things to remove and reinstall, but it wasn't hard.

There are pics in my library.

The kit is made by Ford Motorsport. IIRC, the number is M-2300G. The price is about $300.00. Complete with rotors, calipers, backing plate/caliper mounts, and brake pads, though I do not recomend using the pads that came with it. Items you will need are parking brake cables (2003 Trac ones work fine, flex lines (I used 1996 Explorer parts), good brake pads (Performance Friction Carbon Metallic), banjo bolts with copper washers, and new axle seals.

I am happy I did it. My only regret is that I waited too long to do it.

Tom

ps, check my library for pictures.
