Fuel Filler Tube.

I went to fuel my trac this morning, has half tank now, and the gas kept blowing back out the filler tube at me. Will only take fuel at a trickle.

I imagine there could be some thing down the tube but dont know how.

Just wondered if anyone else had ever had this problem.

Also , How hard is it to pull the filler tube?

Temps here are 24degrees and dont see how anything could be frozen in there.

First thing is to look at all the hoses under the filler door in the wheel well.... There was an issue with earlier ST's where a hose would fall off and the vent system would get clogged...



I have not ever looked how hard it is to remove the filler....

Mine did it. It was under 36K warranty. Dealer fixed it. They claimed water got inside the vent tube. Was replaced at 35,960 miles...Whew.

Thanks for the help. I suspect you are right as the problem did not come up until the weather turned colder. Probably water in the vent tube and now its frozen.
