Fuel injector size???

I've been trying to figure out what size the fuel injectors are in my 05 ST 4.0 4x4.

I've looked and looked and I can't believe I can't find this.



I found the part number, but on the injector size ??ibs.

Dingo, why such a big injector for a 4.0L? The 5.0L mustang came with 19's and the 5.0L cobra motor came with 24's..:huh:

Good question, better yet what color are your OEM V6 injectors?

Mine are red whice I believe are 30Lbs.

The 4.0 has larger cylinders and pistons.

I think the 04 & 05 use bigger injectors because they are flex fuel. E85 runs at a richer mix.

Normally injectors are sized to H.P ratings, a 24 will support well over 400H.P.

Trust me the Bosch 30LB injectors I have were a waste of time and money..
