I applied the Rust Oleum garage floor epoxy last spring and so far I love it. I did notice yesterday that some areas are getting pretty thin, cement is showing through. The question- does anybody know if I wanted to reapply the product this year, would I have to strip the old stuff off? Or could I just broom and wash the floor and apply it again? Thanks

I don't think so. Seems to be along a crack in the cement and in the center of the garage, maybe a 3' x3' area. Might be where water sits during the winter.

Was this the 2 part kit or just a 1 part paint??...

If 1 part paint, just lightly scuff the area with sand paper and re paint..

IF 2 part, you may have to sand it completly off and try again..

I used to work at lowes, we sold the stuff like crazy, no matter if it is a one part or two part it is a sealer that means that you can't apply something overtop because it won't stick, my sugg. is to cut out the area, sand it down, stip it off and redo that area, but fill in the cracks if they weren't done, usually epoxy's don't wear thin, especially the rustoleum
