Gas Gauge

05 XLT Dark Stone My gas gauge has gone nuts. it read way over fuel or empty. Any remedy without going to a dealership? Thanks in advance
By the way I only have a little over 75,000 miles on it

Dam gas ethanol.... your sender is probably bad in the tank.... Normally not the gauge.... Sadly haver to drop the tank to change and should do the pump as well....
Go buy a bottle of Chevron with techron fuel system cleaner.... Put that in before you fill up..... Drive it and see if it gets better.... It helps clean the sender..
