Gas Tank skid plate measurement

Can anyone with the skid plate for the fuel tank, measure how long it is? I bought one (ebay unfortunately) and I believe they sent me the wrong one, because it's short!! Thank you.

Okay, I walked out to the parking lot and whipped out my tape measure. Looks like it's about 5 1/2 feet long, I'm dressed halfway decent today and didn't crawl underneath. Flat in front and curves up along the rear of the gas tank. Originally I ordered the part number in the member project but when it arrived it was also obviously too short. It was for an Explorer Sport and not Sport Trac. The dealer's head mechanic, a good guy, did a little digging in the parts books and ordered me another one which ended up costing about $100 more. It is not metal, but made of heavy sheet-molded compound. If you do a Search you can find my thread many pages back, I put all the part numbers in it.
