Seems you have to slam the doors in the Gen 2's to get them to close. This normal? Everyone has to re-close the doors twice when getting into my 2009 STA. I've had a full load of people all week.

same with mine, i hate slamming doors but its a fine line between slamming and the doors not latching first try.
both of my front doors need to be adjusted so the striker hits in the middle of the latch, hoping this will help them latch a bit better when i get time to do it.
I think part of the issue is how well the cabin is sealed up. you can hear the air vents between the bed and cab relieving pressure when you close the doors. Also with a window cracked open or the rear in vent position the doors close much easier...

My '04 is still that way, after all these years. Even after the front right door was replaced. Im air tight.
