I get about a 1.5" "residue" from the window molding on the front doors at the rear of the glass (above the lock popup), all the way up on both sides. I Have not tinted these yet, but concerned that this will scratch the tint. Is this normal? I've had one side replaced due to wind noise, but the new one does it too.

So many more little "issues" in my 09 STA than my 01...

Nope...not sure what you mean by residue. Do you mean window fog? I have no wind noise, fog or anything but wonderful quietness. Suggest you have a dealer take a look. When I first got my Adrenalin I had the dealer replace the moldings as there was a little wind and they said there was a notice from the factory on the issue so they replaced them with the new version. Might check the dealer on this one.

I get this smeared residue too. A bit of an annoyance, but it hasn't motivated me to take it to the dealer to see what they can do for it, if anything.

Yeah, but will it scratch tint? I'm gonna need to tint these.

As for the TSB, great, I already paid to have the passenger side fixed for leaks, probably not updated!!!

It also leaves the rub marks...

I tinted my '07 Limited and had no problems, but I don't remember if I had the smeary residue on it either. Sorry, i know exactly what you are talking about, but i am not very helpful. You can wash the windows until the cows come home, but you will still get the residue the first time you lower and raise them.
