Gen1-2 Spindle differences

What are the difference between the two spindles?
Are the difference similar to the differences as going to the aviator spindles(needing other aviator steering components)?

Trying to see if the gen1 stuff can be swapped to a gen2(minus braking components), and if so, what other parts would be needed.

I have Aviator spindles & brakes on my 2010. the gen 1 sport trac spindles are completely different and won't interchange. different geometry, everything. the aviator and 4th gen explorer and 2nd get sport trac were based on the same platform thats why the swap is more or less a bolt on...

Well that sucks.
I was going to do the Aviator swap a few months ago(had everything ready to purchase from donor truck), but stumbled upon a company that makes a BBK for the Gen 1’s. Really wanted to go that route instead. 13” rotors are a good upgrade, but even those would be a bit over worked after a few stops from triple digits.
