I am taking my wife and kids home for the hollidays this year and am beginning to prepare. This also gives me the perfect excuse to dump my wranglers even though there not fully worn yet. Man I hate these tires but there like a timex they wont wear out. But alas they arnt adiquate for the conditions of new england winter ;) . My ST is a 4X2 so it is important I make the right choice (winter traction) but after I'm back from vacation Ill have to use them in good ol South Carolina for the rest of there life (noise and ride to be considerd). Right now I'n looking at these, Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT's has anyone had any experence with them? I would realy like REVO'S but these are about $30 cheeaper per tire and my money tree died just last week. I'm looking in the $85 to $95 per tire range. Any other suggestions for brands ot types?

I got my Domnators (Coopers) from Tires.com (Discount tire) and I think the set was about 400.00 mounted, balanced, road hazard, lifetime rotate and balance. Only locations in SC are Greenville or Rock Hill.

Looking at their site, I see them now for 120.00 each, but you might be able to get them down a little. I did by taking an ad for another dealer for the same size but a different tire......

I really like them, good ride, good traction.

Walter,

dont get the Dunlop radial rover rvxts! i'm on my 2nd set now, and they wont last more than 25k...granted they are quiet, and they are decent in snow(not in 2wd though) - might not work for your purpose...i made the mistake of not usin my 4wd last winter, and i went through the entire tire in one winter from spinning.. they will not dig for traction....plus they cost over 100 bucks...i have the 235/75/15s and trhey are about 120 each...get somethin better for cheaper.

thanks

andy
