What's everyone doing for the long weekend? I'll be at Fenway park Sunday, along with other members of our squadron to participate in the flag ceremony taking place before the game. I last participated in 2002 and I'll never forget the cheers, applause, and appreciation expressed by the crowd. It really made me proud to be a member of the military.:)

I am working all weekend and probably Memorial Day. I get double time plus 8 hours( work 12 get paid for 30). Getting new tires so that will cover that. I hope everyone has a safe weekend and Memorial Day.

Saturday morning: Parade and Memorial Day service, shake the hand of a vet or two.

Saturday afternoon: Lawn work with my kids while my wife spends money in Lancaster, PA (Amish country), maybe catch X-Men 3 if there is time in the late aft, early eve.

Sunday morning: Church (of course)

Sunday aft: More lawn work

Monday: Get ready for then host a big Memorial Day BBQ. My wife did the Costco run last night.

And, at various times, have a few beers, play with the kids, swim in the pool...
