Got a book of the autobiography by Henry Ford. Opened the book up to wages and read a few lines. I will not quote what he said, but his business theory goes against what we are told today. One line essentially said in not so few or many words, but "Cutting wages only lowers the buying power in your home market".



The dow goes up, the job wages go down, and we will all loose. What a bright future we have.

Although some of his other ideas, particularly his dislike for Jewish people, are not so admirable.

He was offended that his employees would organize because of what he has done for them. He also came to the realization that every man has a voice and deserves to be treated fairly. He knew that could only be accieved by union representation.



Been on the Rouge Tour plant and learned lots about Henry Ford, the battle of the overpass, and the final signing of the UAW labor union.



Lets not forget, the coveted Japanese auto manufactures are organized in Japan. Yup, those high quality, long lasting cars are built by union labor. I know it is hard to imagine, but it is true.
