I'm taking off the grey OEM rocker panel molding on my Red 2002 Sport Trac that is causing rust. I am just going to get the slip over replacements off ebay for the rusted out frame part. But I know I don't want to put the dumb grey round OEM molding back on.
What have you guys used to replace the round grey OEM rocker panel molding with?
Right now I'm thinking of some textured universal stick on molding and then for the tricky wheel well part just use some filler to fill in the recesses part and place some molding over it.
If there is a kit out there that addresses the wheel areas better than what I'm thinking I'd like to see it, plz.
