ok so i start to hear some grinding on my way home from work today. i get home, take of the tire and check to see what the problem is. well my rotor some how moved closer to the spindle and is now rubbing on the bracket that holds the calliper to the spindle. how did this happen? what would cause my rotor to move closer to the spindle? thanks in advance for yalls help!!

Are you sure the bracket didn't get loosened and/or damaged somehow? Also, make sure there isn't a crack on any of the lug holes. Take the rotor off and see if there are any defects to the inside of the mounting surface. That's about it for ideas for what to look for. Wish I was there to help ya figure it out.;)

ok i just took off the calliper and when you look right down the center of the calliper bracket that is on the spindle it looks like the rotor is tilting back. the two bolts that hold the bracket on are tight and i spun the rotor to see if it was warped or anything like that and its fine. it looks almost like the actual spindle "shaft" is bent????? or am i mistaken? maybe a bearing?

Ok, now that you have it that far, maybe the nut holding the bearings in came loose or a bearing let out. I would think you would have to hit something pretty hard to bend the spindle shaft.;)

'bend the spindle shaft' all things are relative,, :) do you do much wheeling?

Ever seen 35 spline alloy shaft snap and have your tire fly by you up hill?
