Created some asphalt art tonight, I didn't know Jade could do that but I thought I'd give it a try. A friend of mine did it first in his M3 then I let loose. The speedo passed about 50 by the time I let off the brake. Just wait until my Powertrax unit goes in this summer. One of these days I'll get a picture or some video taken of me actually burning out instead of just the tire marks. Sorry for the crappy pics, I took them at night with my phone. Oh, and this was using Wayne's 87 octane performance tune...

Jonny, it's a Moto Razr.

Chops, I can do some good burnouts without the brake, but I have to be in a tight turn.

Todd, when the Powertrax is in, there will be some "testing" going on with pics!

Michelle, are you talking about one that locks just the front calipers? I've been thinking about something like that.

Thanks for the replies!

Larry - it's is a 12 volt operated hydraulic valve that goes in a brake line to a front brake. (You really only need to do it on one circuit.) When energized, the valve closes. Whatever hydraulic pressure that was in the line is trapped in the line.

Anyhow.. you step on the brake, flip the switch, let off the brake, and hit the gas. :)

Only about $60 or so.

line locks are cool, I had them on my 75 mustang which was a stick for launching at the track, I had the button on the shifter handle...

They are fun...
