Has any member mounted hella or piaa lights behind the grill?

I have a safari bar with piaa 525's, but was looking to add some extra light since I'm driving all night cross country in 2 weeks. What did you use and how did you install them?

I was wondering that myself, I thought about a custom grille with lights in it. Gary D. in CT

I know some of those lights can be pretty big and might block a lot of the air flow. It might be a problem in the hotter states.

My husband was going to put them behind the grill on his 02' Ranger. The install place said not to if they are 150 Watts or higher, because they would melt/warp the argent mesh grill. -Heather

I was looking at some hella ff50 fog style. I'm trying to find the diminsions on hellas website but haven't come across anything yet.

Just saw a Tundra on the freeway today that had aux. lights mounted behind a street scenes grill. It looked pretty neat- still had a clean look in the front because they were semi-hidden. If this guy did it, we'll probably be seeing them all over in the near future.
