Has anyone installed Trip Tunes ? I have 2004 Adrenalin that does not have input jack for Ipod. I am thinking about getting it installed and wanted some feedback. Trip Tuned is a FM modulator plugged into antenna and directly into antenna input on your car stereo. Set up a preset channel on your radio , plug in the Ipod into the input jack and hit the switch on the unit. It seems very clean install and appears to may work well. Any thoughts or feedback on this or is there something out there that is better?

Because it plugs in to your antenna, I would have to think that it will sound better than any FM modulator. Go for it!

I put TripTunes in my (well, my wife's) '06 Mustang GT, but it was crap. You had to turn it just about all the way up to hear anything. If you goback to radio or CD before turning it down, your eardrums would blow off. Wound up taking it back out.

If possible, the TripTunes Advanced would probably be better, although I haven't tried it or experienced one set up. The Advanced uses the AUX hard-wired input. Thinking about that one on both my Trac and Stang . . .
