Haul a golf cart?

Anyone ever haul a regular golf cart (NOT the extended 6-seater cart) in a Gen-2 bed? With tailgate down the dimensions and haul specs appear it would be possible. Looking to travel about 1,000 miles after buying my brother's cart. I have the 2010 4x4 limited with V8. Anyone with experience bed hauling a golf cart?

Can't see why not. Just tie it down and floor it.

Ive seen photos before, Big issue is the tailgate weight. Its not designed to hold more then 1-200 lbs. Maybe a piece of plywood down, or a 2x6 under the wheels would be safer.
