Ok So I have a SX900.2 Kicker Amp, and it has blown two Solo Baric L5 10" subs... So I am wanting to go with one 12... I was lookin at the new Kicker CVX 12". Do you guys think that this sub will be blown also? I was running a 12" MP Audio Sub but it was given to me for free untill i got my new sub. So I just want to know what you all think. Thanks again for all your help.

I'm going to guess you are blowing subs because you don't have your gains set right on the amp. If thats is the case it won't matter what subs you get you will continue to blow them.

As far as the new kicker.. I think you could get better for the same price if not cheaper.

Upgrade to 2 L7s. I put one L7 in a friend's WRX, and it gives me a headache 10 seconds into a song when he turns it up. It's runnin on a 600x1 RMS at 2ohms and hasn't blown, so I imagine 2 at 900watts will be fine.

OK so can someone help me out and tell me how i set the gain on the amp i really am lost when it comes to this stuff... I have a Pioneer PH6800 if that helps at all i dont know what all info you need. Thanks.

follow instructions in the link below.. if you have any questions just post up. You will need a digital multimeter (about $15 from radio shack)
