headers

Hey guys, i have a few questions

1. When I searched for parts on a website this is what it came up as: "2007 FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRAC 4.0L OHC." Is OHC and SOHC the same thing?

2. Are headers and manifolds the same thing?

3. I just put on a Gibson exhaust system. But is there anything else I can do to make it louder? I have no clue so any suggestions are good.

If you have the 4.0 V6. I wouldnt waste money on headers. The tone may change but louder, no. The horsepower gain will be 2 maybe. The factory manifolds are a good free flowing design. On the 4.6 V8 thats another story, it could use headers.

The V8 has pretty efficient logs, actually.

Dingo, I actually havent seen some the later manfolds. I know from the early days of the 4.6, they werent built for pulse evac at all. Even on the stang.
