Headlight Alignment

Hello Fellow Trac Owners



So I replaced my headlight and went with some decent after market ones but they are off in the alignment. Is there a simple way to adjust them?

The headlamps on your vehicle can only be vertically adjusted.

didn't the gen 1 have 2 adjustments ??



If not then its almost impossible to adjust

Some years ago. I purchased what I thought were good aftermarket lamps, for another car. I think they were a euro brand. Out of four, they all were messed up and could not be alighned. Paid for 4 what 2 would cost. I junked them and purchased USA name brand.

There should be none or very little adjust reqiured. When changing capsules.

The headlamps on your vehicle can only be vertically adjusted.

This is not true. True is that only one of the three mounting bolts have an extension with hex end (#4 in the diagram). The top two have typical threaded stock in plastic mount that can be adjusted by removing the headlight assembly (see image (#6 in the diagram)).
