About 4 months after my daughter in law had her 07 ST repaired twice ( faulty paint the first time ) because Bambi committed suicide on her front end, she discovered her headlights have spider cracks all over them. The replaced headlight is only 1/2 as bad as the old one. The body shop says this is because someone leaned on the lights when they were hot.

Also the replaced chrome? grille has become very discolored since it was replaced.

Has anyone else experienced this type of problems?

Leaned on both headlights? Sounds like (with the grill discoloration) the heat is getting really bad on the front end. Has she noticed any overheating issues?

OR cheep aftermarket parts....

todd wins the prize. oe parts will not do that.

my guess it was an insurance repair and the repair shop went cheap to make a little extra cash or the insurance company priced aftermarket replacement instead of oe to keep the payout down.
