I upgraded to heavy duty parts for the brakes and UCAs. Ordered all from RockAuto.

Raybestos Advanced Technology Rotors 680027 $49.79 x2 = $99.58

Raybestos Advanced Technology Ceramic Brake Pads ATD833C $52.89

Raybestos Advanced Technology LH Upper Control Arm 5021021 $70.79

Raybestos Advanced Technology RH Adjustable Upper Control Arm 5001090 $40.79

And just for good measure, a new set of tires.

Treadwright 35x12.5R17 Guard Dog M/T with Kedge Grip (Toyo Open Country Load Range E casings) x5 to the door = $991.65

This is the only comparison picture I have. Don't have one of the driver's side. Not really a fair comparison considering i don't even know how old the one I replaced was, but the boot was torn pretty bad. The balljoint was still tight but it was only a matter of time.

For a comparison to typical ball joints, you can read about Raybestos' Advanced Technology stuff on their site. Figured with 35s, I'll give it a try.

Certainly. Was hoping this could help someone. I rarely replace parts with anything other than OEM or upgrade. Running 35" tires, I thought the most heavy duty option available would be best.

I believe so but can't say that with absolute certainty; I suppose time will tell. They're also sold under the McQuay Norris brand and I think they may be the actual manufacturer. You know how impossible it is to find out who actually makes a part and who just attaches a name to it.:banghead: Napa also boxes them and uses the same part number.

XRF Chassis also makes heavy duty parts that have a million mile/lifetime warranty. Their parts do look impressively built and are worth a little looking around if anyone feels so inclined.

For truly extreme duty suspension parts, I think BTF Fabrication would be the ultimate. Call for pricing.
