Well, after leaving Dallas we stayed in Joplin, Missouri; then on to Lees Summit, Missouri; from there we made it as far as Hays, Kansas because we didn't leave until after lunch. We are going to head south to hopefully avoid most of the bad weather. Still getting good gas milage. FYI, we are running the 3:73 rear end, with 235/70/61's. The XCal2 works great; combined with the AirAid CAI, and Flowmaster 70 Big Block II w/ single in duel 2" out. :D

Hay, Roger and Georgia. :D

Do they still have that old oil derrick up there in Hays? It is the only landmark I can remember in that town. Watch out for the weather in front of you. I saw on the news tonight that some mountain passes in the Rockies are closed due to heavy snow. You'll also have some high winds tomorrow (Wednesday) if you are driving.

I went through Hays, Kansas once.

Just once.

Talk about a boring ride! There is nothing to look at but FLAT from Salina to the Western Border. I can only guess you are going to make a stop in Denver. If you're there long enough, vist Golden, CO and the Coors Brewery.

Have a great trip!

:D

Have fun in the Sunflower state! Sounds like a fun trip so far. That'ts going through some nice parts of the country (western Missouri! ) Don't know what's west of Salina, so I can't give you any sightseeing tips...
