So I took my bed off to put on new shocks on the rear. When taking off the bed bolts one of the speed nuts broke!!! I called my local Ford dealer and the parts guy says he cant get them :( Has anyone found were to get the speed nuts. Worse case I'll fab one but its just easier to buy one.:banghead:

Dropping the spare and removing the canister is much easier.

Or the hard way, I did. I went over the frame from the wheel well, with my skinny arm. Wasnt realy bad. My 13mm flex head ratchet wrench. Did the trick.

I found a M12-1.75 bolt and welded it to the frame! As for taking the bed off its not that bad it only took 10min to get it off. Better than lying on my back under the truck with mud and crap falling in my face. But I think its sh*t my local Ford dealer never wants to help you on parts there just lazy ***** in the parts dep. I've had other runarounds with them.
