Help for the ignorant

I hate to admit ignorance, but I guess I don't even know whether the 4.6 rotates clockwise or counter clockwise. I'm trying to install UDP on the crank and am having difficulty removing the center bolt on the harmonic balancer. Any body around on the I guess Mothers Day?

If I am not mistaken, the bolt is standard Right and thread... So It should loosen counter clockwise...



An impact gun is good to get the bolt out, But I normally leave the serp belt on and just hold the belt at the WP or alt and turn the crank bolt loose...

Oldtimer you should know it not nice to play tricks on old people. You scared me on that mothers day date.

Todd, how do you get an impact gum in there without removing the engine? Even with the radiator out I would not have room to use my impact gun.
